Lauren had a busy winter with travel assignments in Colorado, South Africa and Louisiana. This spring she's looking forward to checking out Fort Myers and Sanibel in Florida, where the beachcombing is legendary. She'll catch some sunshine on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast in May, hike through forests in Thailand's Khao Sok National Park in June and she'll be eagle-watching, kayaking and walking barefoot in the sand at Birch Bay, Washington state's best kept secret, over the summer months.

An award-winning travelwriter, Lauren’s chief passion is travel and writing about her experiences on the road. A writer who loves to venture off the beaten track, she has reported from far flung corners of the earth, including Nunavut, The Cook Islands, Panama, Israel, Botswana and many other destinations.

Much of her work can be easily accessed on a quick google search, for she is extensively published in The Vancouver Sun, The Vancouver Province, The San Antonio Express-News, The Houston Chronicle, The Bellingham Herald, Destinations Magazine, The Montreal Gazette, the Victoria Times-Colonist and many others.
