Lauren's just back from Holland and South Africa, where she reported on memories of World War II in The Hague, and on the Heart of Cape Town Museum on the southermost tip of Africa. In a short while she's off to Florida, Guatemala, Mexico and Honduras.

An award-winning travelwriter, Lauren’s chief passion is travel and writing about her experiences on the road. In February 2007 she was honoured to receive an award for the best article on a Canadian destination at the Travel Media Association of Canada, for her story on the grizzly bears in Northern BC.

This gives her the opportunity to take frequent honeymoons - never a bad thing in a marriage!
